About us

Part of the B&B name comes from our surnames.
The chef is called Erwin De Rycke and the hostess  is called Marie-Christine Boone.
Hence our room names, BOON = "the Bean" and RIJK = "the empire"

We have three children, one son Timothy, two daughters Charlie and Lauren
and our first grand child, Bessie, born on the 23rd of July 2017

Second grand child, Donna born on the 30th of July 2019

and the third grand child on the way for November 2020
The children have all left home and live their happy lives.

We have three cats:  Camille and Kiara (17  years) and Soezie (8  years).
In the garden there are often two ponies, which belong to our neighbor but they are still a little part of our family.
The mother pony is called Katia and daughter Fleurken. They often come to pick up their carrots.

Erwin works at 4/5 at Fluvius, this is the electricity provider in Flanders.
Mc runs the B&B like clockwork

We love to travel, enjoy recreational sports and enjoy good food!

We used to have a restaurant for 7 years but decided to go into a different direction.
We found it in the shape of cooking  and running the B&B with 2 bedrooms for guests.

We love to receive and pamper our guests
